Two weeks from today will be our fundraiser for The National Ataxia Foundation! Much more than a fundraiser, the morning will be a celebration of the love and sharing of our family and friends through "Lucy's" life.
"Lucy" turned three years old yesterday. Her favorite gift is her purple balloon, which she keeps close to her, due to her quick loss of vision. She loves to watch the outline of the balloon move through the air, so freely, unlike, her frail little body.
The run will begin at 9AM on Saturday, June 27, 2009. Registration will begin at 8:15AM. We are grateful to Oak Park RiverForest High School for the use of their track, and their support.
There is no charge to participate in the Laps4Lucy. We are thankful for pledges or donations, which will go to the National Ataxia Foundation. Please consider asking your friends and neighbors to support you and your family with a pledge or donation made to the National Ataxia Foundation. A pledge form is attached.
